Bandai RG RX-78-2 Gundam - WIP 01 *and More (Troll Face)

November has been GunPla month for me. Everything is going smooth and I have been progressing faster than expected lately. It's funny because I'm a little busy-er compared to when I was WIPing my Exia Ignition Mode, but anyway here's what I've done so far:

Notice that the feet has 3 points of articulation. MG-ish and this is expected since the Zaku II Char is the same

Legs gimmick - sliding armor is a win for me :)

Color separation of the 'V' in the skirt is awesome. I remember painting that teenee-weenee part on the Ver30thG

Body and booster's color separation (ahh yes the different shades) is an eye opener. This is why I fell in love with the RG line <3

The RG Zaku II Char took me more than 2 months to complete the kit and about 2 weeks to slap in the waterslide decals. Here, it has only been 4 days and I'm almost done with the kit's assembly. Ahhh, can't wait to photo Amuro and Char together (no homo!). I guess the excitement embodied of pulling off poses with their respective mobile suits are keeping me pumped up to finish ..... OR ..... surprise surprise ......

*drumroll...................... ~Ore wa.......

TT Hongli MG 1/100 Exia Ignition Mode - Review

Assembling bootleg kits can be a pain at times but this MG Exia Ignition Mode was a breeze. I was surprised from the fact that 90% went well and the other 10% were minor fixes - from shaving male connectors to gluing parts. I really enjoyed assembling my first Master Grade (I was hoping it was Bandai, my wallet was not cooperating as expected lol). Action! G...Gu...Gundaaaaaam!!!!!!!!!!! GUUUUNDAAAAMU!!! Ore wa........... Ore Wa Gundam-da!! Exia exterminating target............... Graham: Ike, Setsuna! Live and unlock the future! More swords Setsuna? Target exterminated! Joining the bunch :D Pros: Assembling is pretty easy for a bootleg Build is sturdy It came with LEDs! Cons: Joints are too stiff (for my liking, anyways, it made the kit solid though) Swords at his wait does not fit the peg in the hand Exia Repair parts does need half of the non-Repair head. (didn't bother with the transformation) The Exia Ignition Mode is a must have! I'm really g

RIP Crimson Comet

Photobucket has kidnapped my photos and I'm too lazy to re-upload and update every bit. It's been worthwhile. I'm intending to start a new blog that is more "personal" than just focus on one part of my hobby. Looking at my older posts, I can fairly say I've improved on my toy photography (and English!) in which I am thankful for this space as a medium to share my work. Thank you for reading up to this part! Cheers for 7 years!

Bandai SD Zeta Karaba Assault - Review

Got up and finished my "Masking Level Up" project! A bit delayed because I got stuck finding the right paint stripper since I cluster-fucked the wing binders (present in WIP 02). Thanks and props to Kent of GFP for helping me out. Cheers! Now onto the review... Oh boy, the Karaba Assault color scheme breathed new life to the already sexy design of Zeta (one of my most adored MS designs). The usual, a 360 view of the kit A good tap on the back for a job well done etching the Amuro 'A' insignia on Zeta's left shoulder. Level up +1 I really fell in love with the stripes of Zeta KA Zeta's armaments. Had a little bit fun too with the beam saber. Two-tone painting success! Level up +2 Action sequence - commence! Pew pew pew! Though articulation is limited (which is a given for an SD kit), I am a bit surprised how well this guy is as agile and yet as solid while being complicated the Zeta's transformable design come. There are a lot (and I mean A T
