Bandai HG Wing Zero TV - WIP 01

I have been enslaved by my laziness to complete my SD Nu. The poor thing has been in the closet for months. Good thing, a friend asked me to paint his old  HG 1/100 Wing Zero. Ah, I have been a fan of the unit ever since. Itching from my Robot Damashii Wing Zero (please do take note that this is the TV version and not the OVA Katoki) which is 2 months away from now, I have accepted his favor and surely it brought my GunPla fires back up! And to totally pave way into buying paints that my Nu Gundam desperately needs (black). So I rushed to the market to buy some paints but damn, I forgot the black but has purchased every paint the WZ needs. So the SD Nu will again, wait for another day (hopefully not months, heck, NOT a year!). Without further adieu, Wing Zero PAINT IKIMASU!!

Started off with the shield which for me looks like it is the most PITA piece to paint


Painted the clear piece TAMIYA clear green to add a bit more depth to its greenyness lol


My favorite piece to paint as usual, coloring the eyes (used metallic green for eyes and forehead cam; enamel black for the eye outline)

I was not able to take photos of the shield but it's now red. Masking wasn't as smooth but still cleanly put. Head is also in the works and is on the pan. Hopefully I can do more progress tomorrow. Currently scraping off the nub marks and cleaning the left arm. Stay tuned for more WIP of this classical model :)

QY SD Shining Gundam - Mini WIP, Assembly Cure and Review

It has been a while since the last time I blogged. Reality bites and I have to focus on the "more important things in life." Work, girlfriend, and of course going outdoors - a much needed "distraction" to regain my appetite for GunPla. Bandai SD Zeta Karaba Assault - WIP 01

Coming from a competition really fired my GN Drives up! I am now onto my 1st WIP of 2012, SD Zeta! This 2-pack kit was actually bought before I even knew about the GFP competition. But G-SHOT and the 1/144 Challenge came along and the fun and excitement was too hard to pass up! I initially thought of doing Zeta in its accurate colors. Watching Gundam AGE really blew me and I fell in love with white MS's particularly seeing how the G-EXES pawns the UE. Right then and there I decided to try something different, something that I've never tried before (well, sort of). BTW, if you've never encountered the Zeta Karaba Assault it sorta looks like this ~ It is a limited edition color scheme of the MG Zeta V2. Bandai RG Aile Strike - Review

The day has come to review my most adored kit! The first time I saw Aile Strike, I just knew its mech design is very special. Having the RG treatment really kicked off the old MG in terms of articulation and detail. Let's have a look at Strike and his cool equipment! Yes! Yes! YES! Aggressive curves, sharp angles, and a mean looking head. Zaft should be afraid. Be very very afraid! Add an aggressive looking booster pack to an already aggressive looking Mobile Suit and you get a masterpiece design! It's so...... AGGRESSIVE! Accessories Reanimating Strike's first action.
