Bandai HG 00 Raiser Condenser Type - Review

Starting off with the fresh year is my latest work and GFP 1/144 Challenge entry - 00 Raiser [Liminality]. It took quite a while and a week vacation to actually finish this guy.

360 view of 00 Raiser

0 Raiser

00 Gundam and 0 Raiser

The 00 HG line really kicked off in terms of quality and articulation. I really love the engineering on the 00 series kits and I've read it just got better with AGE (pun). 00 kits collection will hold off for now as I've been eyeing on HG Zeta and ZZ for quite some time now haha

00 Gundam, Setsuna F Seiei, ikimasu!

Let me understaaaaand...

ガンダム

Setsuna F Seiei, 00 Raiser, exterminating target!!

Spatula shot lol

Spatula combine (which made it look a little bit better than what fail of a design it already is hahaha)

Toh!

From the other "versions" (I say Bandai milked this kit DRY) of 00, this particular flavor (Condenser type) has the GN-Sword III which made it look complete for Setsuna's

For the future!!!

Sword GET-O!!!

With a bunch of swords in 00's arsenal and having some of Exia's likeness imprinted, the 00 Raiser won't fail Setsuna if he decides to sword spam lock the enemy MS

Pros:
The addition of 0 Raiser really struck me of how cool the 00 can get (it looked so plain without the 0 Raiser)
Articulation is superb
Everything is solid, though a little bit back heavy -- but never was an issue
It comes with a stand
Clear stickers (Celestial Being insignia)

Cons:
Hand joints can get really loose (FAST!)
A little bit of painting is required to make it look good (v-fin really sucks not to come molded in the right color)

If you like the 00 series, this kit is a must get! The Condenser Type flavor of the 00 Raiser is the most complete of the bunch and comes with condensers (AND GN drives), GN-Sword III, 0 Raiser, and effect parts, plus the clear stickers. I know I'll be collecting 00 kits as I love the 00 mech designs, but that will hold for now as the UC MS's particularly Zeta and ZZ are haunting me in my dreams O___O

Quite happy how the year turned out. I hope you guys had a meaningful 2011 too! Here's hoping to have another good GunPla run for 2012! Cheers and happy holidays!

Pros: Weapons Sculpt is spot on Cons: Articulation plenty but a bit restrictive compared to newer releases by SHF Rockman Zero builds on a new era from the X series. TT Hongli MG 1/100 Exia Ignition Mode - Review

Assembling bootleg kits can be a pain at times but this MG Exia Ignition Mode was a breeze. I was surprised from the fact that 90% went well and the other 10% were minor fixes - from shaving male connectors to gluing parts. I really enjoyed assembling my first Master Grade (I was hoping it was Bandai, my wallet was not cooperating as expected lol). Action! G...Gu...Gundaaaaaam!!!!!!!!!!! GUUUUNDAAAAMU!!! Ore wa........... Ore Wa Gundam-da!! Exia exterminating target............... Graham: Ike, Setsuna! Live and unlock the future! More swords Setsuna? Target exterminated! Joining the bunch :D Pros: Assembling is pretty easy for a bootleg Build is sturdy It came with LEDs! Cons: Joints are too stiff (for my liking, anyways, it made the kit solid though) Swords at his wait does not fit the peg in the hand Exia Repair parts does need half of the non-Repair head. (didn't bother with the transformation) The Exia Ignition Mode is a must have! I'm really g...

RIP Crimson Comet

Photobucket has kidnapped my photos and I'm too lazy to re-upload and update every bit. It's been worthwhile. I'm intending to start a new blog that is more "personal" than just focus on one part of my hobby. Looking at my older posts, I can fairly say I've improved on my toy photography (and English!) in which I am thankful for this space as a medium to share my work. Thank you for reading up to this part! Cheers for 7 years!
