THE CRIMSON COMET

Glad to be back from my hiatus! I got this figure before Christmas which was being sold dirt cheap. Too bad it has a missing piece (sword guard at the spatula). Grabbed the 0 Raiser the next day to achieve this 'perfection'. Wasn't free until now to take photos so this review is long overdue :p Some might be asking why I have a bunch of 00's. For starters, the design really kicked in me. I just love how it looks and 00 being one of the best Gundam shows laid a special place in my collection. Quite sure I'll be getting an Exia as my next 00 fig and the rest MS's to follow. Review STAAAART-O! 360 One of the reasons why I bought 7s - SWORD! - and not the 00 Raiser package (another thing to note is that the Gundam 00 is a bit updated in 7s than the 1st release 00 and 00 Raiser. Head looks meaner and articulation is a bit imporved) See how slim this unit is and then how stuffed it looks but gets away with a perfect balance of its aest...

Starting off with the fresh year is my latest work and GFP 1/144 Challenge entry - 00 Raiser [Liminality]. It took quite a while and a week vacation to actually finish this guy. 360 view of 00 Raiser 0 Raiser 00 Gundam and 0 Raiser The 00 HG line really kicked off in terms of quality and articulation. I really love the engineering on the 00 series kits and I've read it just got better with AGE (pun). 00 kits collection will hold off for now as I've been eyeing on HG Zeta and ZZ for quite some time now haha 00 Gundam, Setsuna F Seiei, ikimasu! My journey to GFP 1/144 Challenge is almost over (actually it is) and this is the last entry for my WIP on my entry. Building a kit along with friends are much fun than assembling for the sake of "collecting". Don't get me wrong though, I enjoy whatever reason (or the lack of) modelling these kits. A quick stop on how I achieved painting the clear parts: Tamiya Enamel Paints work wonders. I don't know how it achieves the "clear" effect but it looks GREAT! Do take note on the importance of using a thinner. You do NOT want the brush strokes to be visible on the surface do you? (Newbness still struck and I did apply a little bit thick on some pieces - lesson learned) ....Aaaand a little bit of masking Finally done with the kit. Overall I am VERY VERY satisfied with my work. A few imperfections here and there but my GFP brothers' appreciation made all the hard work worth it. I am glad to have joined the competition as I've learned a few tricks...

3rd post and December is almost over. Other priorities, work, and a whole bunch of stuff just kept on getting in the way of at least pursuing the hobby ever since I was a child. Quitting the hobby inevitably looms on my mind BUT by simply looking at the "incomplete" collection sparks a light to give my GunPla blood a little rush. It's a bit depressing, really, to have the mere thought of leaving. With that out of my chest and my future as a collector and a modeler is in jeopardy, grasping whatever what's left on my back log and taking responsibility to the GFP 1/144 HG challenge, I present -- 00 Raiser Ver.
